E-commerce Manager - Freelance (Maternity Cover June-Dec 2026)
Context: Freelance / Interim Management / CDD
Duration: 7-8 months (end May 2026 – December 2026)
Location: Hybrid (Paris) or Remote (with occasional travel to Paris office)
Key Responsibilities
1. International Website Rollout & Localization (June – August)
Theme Deployment: Inherit a newly redesigned website validated on a single primary market.
Market Adaptation: Execute the rollout of this theme across 7 additional international stores. Manage the localization of content, currency routing, and regional app integrations.
Deadline Enforcement: Complete the migration, QA, and launch phases across all markets prior to September to ensure platform stability before Q4 preparation begins.
2. Strategy & Commercial Roadmap
Global Shopify Ownership: Accountable for consolidated revenue and conversion targets across 8 Shopify stores.
Q4 Planning: Define the Black Friday offer strategy and promotional calendar during the summer months in collaboration with the Marketing team.
3. Black Friday Orchestration (September – December)
Campaign Execution: Supervise the Operations Manager to ensure all assets, discount codes, and landing pages are staged and tested across all 8 stores and all languages prior to the peak period.
Peak Monitoring: Monitor daily performance metrics in Novenver (Black Friday). Lead reactive commercial decisions if revenue or conversion deviates from forecasted targets.
Site Stability: Enforce a code freeze and pause all A/B testing by early November to guarantee stability during peak period.
4. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment
Management: Lead a team of 2 (Operations Manager & QA Specialist) + freelance dev. Validate their initiatives, remove operational blockers, and manage resource allocation.
Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary E-commerce liaison for Acquisition, Logistics, and Customer Success teams.
5. Performance Analysis & Reporting
Data Diagnostics: Monitor analytics. Diagnose funnel friction points, traffic variances, and conversion drops.
Post-Mortem: Lead the post-Black Friday performance analysis, manage the transition back to standard operations, and support in preparation of the New Year campaign strategy before the contract concludes.
